The Graduate Student Assembly is now accepting applications for all of the programs chair positions for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Positions include Webmaster, Historian, Grad and Prof. School Day, Travel Fund, Research Fund, and Research Symposium. A small stipend is given to all Program Chairs. If you are interested submit a CV and cover letter indicating the position(s) of interest via email to gsa@vt.edu. All applications are due by March 28, 2008. An interview may be requested. We are forming a GSA Relay For Life team for all VT community graduate and professional students. The VT event is the evening of April 18th. The event benefits the American Cancer Society. New this year, students from VCOM (the Osteopathic School) have been specially invited to join as well.
Note that this event is aimed to try to make it possible for everyone to participate at a comfortable and enjoyable level. Additionally, we in the GSA are committed to making sure that everyone enjoys his or herself through having great people and fun activities! Please see www.vtrelay.org for more information.
