The Graduate Travel Fund Program administered by the Graduate Student Assembly has over the years helped many graduate students support their trips to conferences all over the world in order to publish results of the outstanding research that has become synonymous with Virginia Tech

Eligibility

All full-time registered graduate students enrolled at Virginia Tech are eligible to apply. Due to the high number of applicants, a graduate student may not receive more than one TFP award per academic year. Assistance through the TFP is competitive and awarded on a point system designed to help ensure fair decisions. This process evaluates the merit of the application and value added to applicants academic and professional growth through attendance at the conference/scientific meeting.
